Not strickly just E21 related, but might be interesting, more so for the Aussies and Kiwis amongst us.
Local chapter of the BMW club held a tribute night to Frank Gardner, the team manager of the JPS BMW team in the ATCC, who died earlier this year. Aside from managing the team, Frank was a three time BTCC winner, and competed in Formula one along side such greats as Jim Clark and Jack Brabham, as well as Sports Car and F5000.
Guest of honor was Jim Richards, the driver who is a 7 time Bathurst winner and won the ATCC title in a JPS BMW.
I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking - mine is the E21 JPS on the left, the 635 race car in the middle was driven by former F1 World Champ Denny Hulme at Bathurst, and the right is an E30 JPS.
Very Temping
Jim regailing us with stories of Frank and his time with BMW

That's very cool. How long has JPS been around? I had a little dejavu...
I seem to remember building a little car model as a child, and the finishing touch on it was putting some "John Player Special" stickers on it.
