well, its been a while since ive updated. Nothing realy going on however i did retorque my headstuds today and found that alot of the studs were fairly loose. Definately NOT at the torque spec. Im not sure whats to blame for this, whether its the copper gasket, the studs stretching, or the new lube losing torque however im anxious to see if the head lift issue gets better which im sure it will after retorquing.
trying to go race this sunday if weather holds.

Good to hear! maybe the copper gasket should be TQ'ed in a different fasion? I would do something like 30, wait hour, 50 wait hour, 70 wait hour, 90 wait hour, 100ft/lbs final.
Edit, maybe try the recommended 32ft/lbs - 90 - 90. Then loosen all and repeat. That way the gasket should be fully compressed.

the coolant always held pressure. the problem was it was over pressurizing while under boost conditions.
the method i used before was 32 90 90. the method i used this time was 35 90 90. Like i said, im not sure if the gasket compressed more or if the studs stretched but im gunna give it hell. Motor is getting torn apart soon anyway so im gunna just enjoy it.

How much timing advance are u running at full boost?
My motor has not lifted the head and i run 35psi(i know your compression is higher then mine and the fuel difference but still...Just want to know)
