Z3 (E36/7, E36/8) (1996 - 2002) In 1996 BMW added the Z3 to the lineup. First available only with the 1.9 liter engine, the Z3 went on to carry every 6 cylinder produced between 1996 and 2002. A fun, sporty little 2 seater came both in convertible and coupe form. Being a bit of a “parts bin” car, the Z3 is part E30, part E36, but all original.

Happy Thanksgiving 2009

Hey everyone, I get the holiday thread this time!

Thanksgiving may not mean alot to some of you, but it gives me time to reflect on the things in life that are truely important.

Our families go through a great deal for us, and vise versa, and too often we dont express our thanks.

Whether you be religious or not, take this weekend to contact famliy members and let them know the love is felt.

Enjoy the get-togethers you all will have and know that there are thousands of young men and women out there in harms way to make it possible for us to enjoy our time with family... Keep them in your prayers if you do that sort of thing.

I personally am thankful for a great deal, specifically my family, my health, and my friends. We have patted ourselves on the back a lot lately, but we really are a great group.

Thanks.

I agree. Given the hardships a lot of people are going through in 2009 I'm grateful that everyone I know is healthy.

Aside from health & family, I'm sure you guys are thankful to have either an E36/7 or an E36/8........or both.........in the garage.

Happy Turkey Day, everyone!

I'd like to add my best wishes to all this Thanksgiving and especially to those far from home who put their life on the line for us, our US Forces everywhere in the world.
