1991 - 1999 (E36) (1991 - 1999) The first modern 3 Series, the E36, was the model that paved the way for the 3 Series to be named "Car of the Year" every year since the model was driving off showroom floors. Radically redesigned in 1992, the E36 was not the same 3 Series as the E21 and E30. Larger, less boxy in design, and equipped with a dual overhead cam engine, multilink rear suspension, and a more finished interior, the E36 balances sport with luxury.

BMW coupe needs full respray but how can i customise?

Unfortunately my bmw 318is coupe was keyed all over buy some bitch (pardon my french but im sure can feel my pain) and ive gone thru the insurance and they are happy for it to be reprayed. Im keeping the original AVUS BLUE as i think its one of the best and rare colours. I have 2 things in mind but not 100% so i thort id ask u guys (and girls) for your advice:

1) Been asked if want my handles and the m-tec mouldings sprayed as silver example below
?(not sure abt moulds but think handles maybe)

2) What can i add to the car in another colour for some enhancement to make it custom and individual?
(thinking of having something like middle of bonnet where risen darkened in dark grey or black and maybe take it over the roof n tailgate as ive eddited lol)

btw: before some ppl say the alpina multispoke alloys looked better, i had them for 2 years on my previous silver coupe and then on this but wanted to give it a modern look....u wouldnt wear the same pair of shoes forever now would you

*the car is also going to get a AC SCHNITZER window spoiler & front m3 lip

I personally like it in all one color that is just me. If you want to do two tone, maybe paint the roof black but I am not into that. Simple is sexy!

I think everything should be the same color, but then again I have a black car. Don't do the 'ricing stripe'.

To keep with the BMW theme, you could have the shop spray the BMW Motorsport International flag logo on the bonnet (aka hood) & fender and rear quarter panel & boot (aka hood). Instead of applying the multi-color decal, they could use it as a stencil and spray some type of "ghost metallic" color instead, between the avis blue basecoat and clear topcoat. I've always wondered what that might look like. Probably labor intensive, but if the insurance company is footing the bill for the re-spray it might be well worth it. Then park it somewhere your crazy ex girlfriend can't find it...

Keep it the original color.
If you wanna get fancy - play with the misc items.
