!!!!Window Switches!!!!

4dr sedan if the lights are out on the switches does that mean the switches are on they way out ? also I just got my window switches and one of the switches lights up red , when the rest of switches are orange in color is it the wrong switch for the car ? The switch does work but it lights up red
