1991 - 1999 (E36) (1991 - 1999) The first modern 3 Series, the E36, was the model that paved the way for the 3 Series to be named "Car of the Year" every year since the model was driving off showroom floors. Radically redesigned in 1992, the E36 was not the same 3 Series as the E21 and E30. Larger, less boxy in design, and equipped with a dual overhead cam engine, multilink rear suspension, and a more finished interior, the E36 balances sport with luxury.

Angry Alarm keeps going off

Just brought a 318is.. One of the previous owners has fitted a 2nd alarm.. a crappy Sikura alarm. It works fine but I'd rather use the factory immobiliser.

The problem is whenever I look the car with the fob the bloody alarm goes off randomly after about 10 minutes. Just wondering if anybody has had the same problem?

Send a message via AIM to EisnerRacing
it is setting of because of a sensor being open
ck hood pin
door pins
trunk pin (tend to brake off)
also cheap alarm dont have the ability to see a fading dome light.
so you may have to wait to arm it when the dome light goes off.

or just come to my shop and ill fix it ..in ga.

A long way to travel lol.

Wouldn't the interior light come on if the sensor is showing open?

I'm playing on not using the 2nd alarm and disconnecting it but ive got a feeling its the bonnet
