Well i bought a bimmer. And the dash lights dont work. The gauges work and all the rest of the things work but the interior ligts dont. What lights that "do" work is the power windows switches, mesage center, warning lights in the dash. Thats all. The heater lights are out. The gauge lights are out. Interior lights when u open the door is also out but that can just be bulbs. Please help!

Thanks,

Could be the dimmer in the headlight switch is dead. I had the same symptoms when I bought my eta, a replacement headlight switch fixed it.

awesome. how hard is that switch to replace? And that switch would kill the whole dash board?

Thanks,
-Steve

The lights behind the climate control also started working after I replaced my switch. It wasn't too hard to replace; just be careful about bending and yanking things behind the dash. If I remember correctly, there were two small nuts to undo on the backside. The one closest to the body was a bit of a pain to get to as there isn't much room for maneuvering a wrench.

I picked up a used replacement switch from a forum member for around $20.
