1991 - 1999 (E36) (1991 - 1999) The first modern 3 Series, the E36, was the model that paved the way for the 3 Series to be named "Car of the Year" every year since the model was driving off showroom floors. Radically redesigned in 1992, the E36 was not the same 3 Series as the E21 and E30. Larger, less boxy in design, and equipped with a dual overhead cam engine, multilink rear suspension, and a more finished interior, the E36 balances sport with luxury.

Question 1994 325is looking for paint ideas!

Hi! i recently purchased a 1994 325is and have been doing meticulous body work on it. it is now ready for some color. it was originally black and I want to go with a metallic black or color dark enough to almost be black. Does anyone have any ideas and pics of colors? I would like to see some! thank you!

Whatever you do - It's best to stay close to the original color.

Green is weird, unless you in the desert to match the cactus plants.

Black looks good but its pretty common. What color is your interior? If you have an M3 body kit, do it technoviolet or a darker purple. Some kind of dark green with ambers would work with either body. Whatever you do, please don't paint the bumper trim or door moldings.
