I AM IN NEED OF HELP REALLY BAD! Rear Suspension Components Bent

Alright so about a week ago a curb and I had an incident. Well I replaced my lips and thought everything would be jolly good. Well I went to get the car aligned today, and my rear camber and toe arms are both bent. Well FUUUU. So I have to replace them before I can even think about getting my car aligned properly. I want to replace all of this on Friday and Saturday before and autox on Sunday. Dealership doesn't stock either part, but I have the camber arms. I just need the Toe Arm "banana arm" and wheel bearings. Can anyone point me in the right direction of where to find these parts? I will have P/N up in just a few minutes. I would really like to have this fixed so I can get my car aligned and run on Sunday. Anyone in the MAR have the parts I need or know anyone who is parting or something? HEEELLLLLPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whoever hooks me up will get credit for a nice NWS posting for everyone in OT!

Bimmerzone has free ground shipping that ships in one day because we live so close. I would try them first. I ordered all kinds of stuff from vince and he is all around a great person to work with.

UPS ships saturday. so he should get them tomorrow, depending on what time you place your order of course.

Edit: I ordered control arms, bushings, tie rods on Tuesday and got them wed with his free ground shipping.

How are you going to install all of these parts? If you're replacing the rear trailing arms, you're in for a pretty big job mainly with trying to get the spindle of the half shaft out of the trailing arm without destroying the half shaft.

The lower control arm is not a very difficult job to fix, but you'll need to unbolt the diff to have enough room to get the bolt out.

If i were going to be in town this weekend I'd give you a hand, but unfortunately I will be in DC. Where are you auto-xing?

as for the OP.. i see it vary hard to get everything you need done fixed in time.

1. For the camber arms you have to unbolt the diff and slide it back like VA tech said.

2. Trailing arms you have to well... unbolt everything axels from diff, undo brake lines, and ebrake cables.. its not one of those things you can rush rush and have it done in 1hr and have it done right....

also why does the alignment place say the trailing arms are bent?? i would see it having to be a pretty good hit to bend those things.. there thick.

i used to have some trailing arms off my M3 but i sold them to VA tech... speaking of him... can i get my swaybar????

I believe he said toe arm, which is made out of sheetmetal, and meant to bend in the event of hitting a curb.

the only arm that controls toe in/out on a E36 is the trailing arm..

you got the

1. Trailing arm
2. Lower control arm (lower wishbone)
3. Upper wishbone witch the spring sits on.

the lower control arm is the one made out of thinner metal and is designed to bend.
