What do you think about these wheels on a Z3

I may be selling these wheels from my e90. I think they look pretty good on a Z3. They are like 34/37mm offset, so it's like running a moderate spacer on normal wheels.

Wheels are 9/10 condition - the center caps look a bit discoloured
    Tires are about 9/32" F and 7/32" R

    Thinking $850 plus shipping

Rims look OK, but have you driven with them? That front tire looks like it's sticking out in the pic.

They look alright, but I think there are better wheels for the price (since you asked).

yea, OEM wheels just don't bring much. Unless they're E36 M3 LTWs.

    Good comments guys...

OEM 330i sport wheels (styele162) are fetching $1200 pretty regularly. I keep going back and forth with these wheels...you can run the rear up front, so I might just try to find a rear pair and sell the fronts for like $2.

Not bad but indeed pretty simple. Most OEM wheels are indeed somewhat boring (except mine )

Plus, the carport floor angles down towards the passenger side of the car. Mis-matched tires and a sloping floor are making the car sit funny in the picture.

In that picture, the tires are 225/45R 17 and 255/40R 17 Bridgestone RE050 run flats. I have since replaced them with 225/45 and 245/40 BF Goodrich tires. The don't rub, even at full lock and so far, no odd wear patterns.

If I had a Z3 and wanted to go with OEM wheels, I'd probably go with e36 M3 LTWs. These are ok, but just kind of plain.

I agree. But since I went with an 18" wheel on my (now sold) E90, I had them just sitting around unused. It made the price very right.

I can try to take some better pictures this weekend.

Don't leave your car out at night or you just may come out to see chromed style 42s have replaced your 32s I've been casually shopping for staggered 17" 32s for a while now. I haven't found ones for cheap enough yet. I just like the look so much more than the spoke style 42s.

As for the OP's pics. Meh... They are OK, but it looks like someone threw on a set of sedan wheel to me. I like the dished look on a Z3, not the flush rims. That's just me though.

Probably because they are sedan wheels. However, my original 16" wheels were not dished at all.

Yes, I know they are sedan wheels. The post says as such

As for dished or not, that is just a preference. I like the dished look myself. Always have and always will. It the wheel is flush or sticks out past the side wall, then it is not for me at all. Others like it the other way around. OK with me, but I don't like the looks of them much. Again they are OK, but I would stick with stock.

The wheels match the car pretty well, but they just look very factory stock. Nice wheels for the car if you don't want to attract too much attention.

OK, fresh pics from several angles. The wheels are BMW 161, which were original equipment from a 2006 325i (E90) with sport package. The tires are BF Goodrich g-Force sports in 225/45R 17 front and 245/40R 17 rear.

Hope this helps those who were interested.

I like how the rears look almost flush. They dont look too shabby. Theyre the type of wheel that grows on you.

They have grown on me as well. They weren't my first choice, but I wanted to get rid of the 16" wheels that came on the car and I had these laying around unused.
