Z3 (E36/7, E36/8) (1996 - 2002) In 1996 BMW added the Z3 to the lineup. First available only with the 1.9 liter engine, the Z3 went on to carry every 6 cylinder produced between 1996 and 2002. A fun, sporty little 2 seater came both in convertible and coupe form. Being a bit of a “parts bin” car, the Z3 is part E30, part E36, but all original.

there is no way center caps are NLA. Call the dealer if you can't find them, they are cheap. They probably got replaced by a newer part #.

Yes, at least two times (maybe three). The newest ones are much nicer than the originals that came with the car, IMO. I'll have to look up the part number.

I'll take a look in my parts bin. I saw some in there the other night, but I don't know how many or what kind.

Yeah, shipping really kills small parts orders. I usually end up waiting until I have a huge order to put in.

How many do you need?

BMW changed the design of the centercaps.

The roundel now extends out farther instead of having a white/silver ring around the outside.

Sorry about that, I missed your reply. I am holding onto these as spares. If I had any of the used ones that I had replaced, I would just ship them to you.

Bimmerbum is a great source and that's a great deal, but be aware that he's on a vacation (honeymoon, I think?) through the end of the month. Last time I looked there was a note on his ebay storefront about it.

Anyway, I just picked up a set of 4 from the $tealer for just less than $10 each, and 10% off for BMWCCA. Easy, quick, and reasonably close to the online price. For small, one-off orders like this I don't mind going to the dealership parts department. Although they always look at me funny when I rattle off the VIN and part numbers from memory... I've been spending too much time on realoem.com

Oh, and the new roundels are nice. Overall appearance seems larger, and the finish is glossy / enamel-ish. Much better than the matte plastic ones I had (besides being worn and scratched).
