Z3 (E36/7, E36/8) (1996 - 2002) In 1996 BMW added the Z3 to the lineup. First available only with the 1.9 liter engine, the Z3 went on to carry every 6 cylinder produced between 1996 and 2002. A fun, sporty little 2 seater came both in convertible and coupe form. Being a bit of a “parts bin” car, the Z3 is part E30, part E36, but all original.

The Coupe has Landed (the east coast sequel)

Forum visitors may start to think that LSB Coupes are as common as dirt after these last few days, but here goes. Many thanks to my wife for snapping these pics while I was at work today

Hey wait a minute, wasn't that supposed to stop here first?!

Frankly, I find nothing rare about M Coupes/Rdstrs (neither do my neighbors)...

Edit: BTW, Congratulations!

Nice thread title!
Congrats on the new Coupe! LSB cartel FTW!

Nice garage, looks like lots of tools. I'm impressed with how well the Coupe appears to be taken care of in shipment. Covered, seat covered, etc. Nice pics. Thanks for sharing

I may yet pay you a visit Randy. I'm awaiting full service documentation from Alvin. I need to do some homework on the S54...

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery right? Intercity was a little expensive, $1650, but all reviews of their service were excellent. My wife, an MIT engineer, but total non-car person, was impressed by the unloading process

Haha! Nah, I'm a hardcore roady guy. If I were to come across an immaculate midnight blue (if they ever made that color) S54 roady on tan OR a black on two tone red/black, I'd be very tempted

Dude Awesome! That coupe is F'ing sexy. It sucks that it got rained on, but it is the east coast. I'm re-living the excitement of getting mine. The shipping looks top notch. I guess you get what you pay for when it comes to that. Congrats man. +1 on the sound clip. I expect a full first drive report!

I'm almost never jealous of other cars. Not a slight on the cars here- I just love mine. But I am officially jealous.

I need to learn how to post sound clips, but the ACS sounds a lot like my Supersprint -a rich low growl at idle. I'll follow up with how it sounds at WOT

Thanks! I need to practice saying, "Sure... for 60K" if someone asks if the car is for sale. Actually I think Z3Couper and I agreed on 75-100K for LSB

I haven't seen your car but it looks awesome as well. I was emotionally in the pack of pirahnas swarming after your car two months ago

Alvin, it was a pleasure going business with you. Given how many beautiful cars you have and how much work you do on them, your memory for each individual detail is amazing.

There are about 10 LSB owners here, that makes 31 more out there to hunt down...

Thanks! As I walked around the car yesterday I thought about how nice this color would look with a Pacific beach as a backdrop
