Porsche Boxster S vs. Evo VIII

Sorta funny story that happened on Sunday. I found myself side-by-side with a red Boxster S vert on an expressway in the peninsula. I wasn't looking for a race but the passenger in the Porsche kept looking over like he was trying to egg me on. We get to a light and the driver and passenger start looking at me and pointing. The passenger then leans over his door and says "hey...yo...brother man" to me as he waves his hands like I'm blind and deaf. I wanted to punch him in the throat it sounded so stupid and condescending. I looked over and nodded and he said "So that the poor man's Porsche, huh?" I leaned out the window with a big smile and said "no, it's just a Mitsubishi. That's the poor man's Porsche.", as I pointed to his car. He started clapping and laughing at his buddy...it was sorta funny...and the driver was all pissed and shaking his head and who knows what he was saying. He started revving his engine though...which wasn't very loud...and I told the passenger that this will be embarrassing for him. I only brought the revs up to about 4K but it was enough to put two cars on him before the other end of the intersection. He even got the jump. Anyways I sorta fuxored the shift to 3rd...I think my synchro is going out...but once in gear I put another 2 or 3 cars on him before I shut down at about 100mph. He stayed back and never even made an attempt to get near me again. Anyways I know those things are slow but the situation was sorta funny.

P.S. The 318i in the middle lane put bus-lengths on both of us.

Read the rules, no BMW means it doesn't belong in kill stories.

That also happened to me but with two dudes in a black non-S Boxster. The passenger was such a douche. "Nice beeeemer, love those wheels, hope they didnt cost you too much"

They started giggling, I launched at 4k and put 3 lengths on him by 80...they stayed back a little so I braked hard to get next to them...I looked over, honked and laughed.

Nice kill OP.

"no, it's just a Mitsubishi. That's the poor man's Porsche."

4g63 + Forced Performance turbo = the shit.

Silly rule, IMO. Would you rather read about an evo vs a porsche, or some story by a 17 year old about how his 323 raped a z06?

OP has a really quick car. On a launch he could put two cars on a boxter in no time.

fuxored=fucked up

Thumbs up

BMW or not - you still read it and I'm willing to bet it put even the smallest of a smile on your face. Not to mention the 318i.

OP, nice, nice OP.

You gave him the jump? Jeesh it would have been really ugly if you had actually tried.

Nice kill!

Good story and good kill. In the early days of the boxers they were always painfully slow. The new one's actually run high 12's though...which is way more impressive than the original 14 second car. Chances are you could have run into any gen of boxer and still beat them.

Give him a break, he's just quoting the posted rules of the forum:

That said, I'm leaving this one open because it's a great read, and it sounds like the Boxster guy got exactly what he was looking for in this situation.
