Z3 (E36/7, E36/8) (1996 - 2002) In 1996 BMW added the Z3 to the lineup. First available only with the 1.9 liter engine, the Z3 went on to carry every 6 cylinder produced between 1996 and 2002. A fun, sporty little 2 seater came both in convertible and coupe form. Being a bit of a “parts bin” car, the Z3 is part E30, part E36, but all original.

That price is appropriate for the 52,000+ miles it has on it in such a short time.

Yeah, but the front fender, and the door panels look like the sunken cheeks of a meth addict.

Nice car! I still hope something different is around when I'm ready to buy a new roady though.

I've always wanted a P-car. How are parts though? I'm always afraid it will cost me an arm and a leg.

Yes I have seen 99 996's here as low as $15K but more so hovering high teens low 20's.

That is what scares me as the 996's can get expensive to work on and parts are not cheap...Those cars were close to 100K new...

996's don't really do it for me. Nice cars and all, but.. I prefer the older 911's..

There was an issue with the earlier 996. You want to get the 2003 or later.

Item flagged, how much was the price?

Never liked the old Z4 headlight styling, but it certainly beats any bug-eyed porsche for me.

Nice! Although a bit on the high end for what I would be willing to spend on a two seater. Guess you could just buy a 911 and supercharge it. You'll get a similar power output and probably save 5-10k.
