1991 - 1999 (E36) (1991 - 1999) The first modern 3 Series, the E36, was the model that paved the way for the 3 Series to be named "Car of the Year" every year since the model was driving off showroom floors. Radically redesigned in 1992, the E36 was not the same 3 Series as the E21 and E30. Larger, less boxy in design, and equipped with a dual overhead cam engine, multilink rear suspension, and a more finished interior, the E36 balances sport with luxury.

Broken outer door handle

So my outside driver door handle broke its been broke for awhile but now its just pure annoying i have to go in thru the passenger door turn the key on put down the driver window then put the passenger window down a tad too so it dosent break because my windows mysteriously stopped sealing(dropping when open and sealing when u close...) on there own when u open and close the door so now instead of sealing they hit the upper frame and wana break the window(well only passenger) so im ready to replace my outer handle has anyone done this,is it hard, and also i am shopping around for a replacment handle and they are saying 1 or 3 pigtails? Does anyone kno what a 94 325ic would have without removing it? Thanks guys...

to replace it you will need to remove inner panel, window, and door lock mechanism. Mine is broke too.
