18" rims for bmw 2006 325i
i was going to buy some 19" rims however most people including people in this forum were against it. I have now decided to downgrade to 18". Any advice on what rims to get? I want silver with a deep lip. Thanks for all the advice!

Depends on what your priorities are: looks, performance, cost, and ease of cleaning are factors you should weigh. If your car is going to be a track car then of course performance/weight would be higher on your list. However, if you're using your car as a daily driver, you'll probably want a blend of the factors and performance can mean wheel strength vs just weight, for taking potholes. Also, buy what you like since you are the owner of the car and will be driving it and not necessarily what other people think you should buy.
As for brands I'm not an expert, but BBS and SSR are popular. There are many other brands though, many of which can be quite expensive, and hence, depreciate a lot if you end up selling them. I have a set of Enkei OR52s that will fit your car if you want to have a look: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum....php?t=1330358 They're pretty decent wheels and together with the Michelin PS1s, the price I'm asking is a really good deal. Just buy what you like. Good luck. ![]() Last edited by scooper; 11-06-2009 at 05:49 PM.. |
