MKIV loses power
Its been happening ever since I got the car, hit a bump and the MKIV display dies in the car
Tracked it to the actual dvd unit losing power Radio still works for hours after dvd computer shutdown from lop Tried replacing plug, dielectric grease, disassembly and cb cleaning Still loses power Any suggestions other than buying replacement And before you say use search I already did TIA

He's talking about the NAV. Not a VW!
LOL, check the connections in the back of the head unit and the control module in the trunk. Check the wiring to make sure you have no shorts or opens(the power may ground out)/ Or worst case, you have a dying unit. Good Luck!
