I might drag the girlfriend to this depending on what the buy-in is, but I'm definitely in for a friendly (read: low stakes) game of poker.

Wish I could make it and take all your money (read:lose all my money) but I'll be out of town. If it is a good time, someone should host another one.

Who else is coming? It's tomorrow guys, I don't have very many RSVPs. See the top of the tread for more info.

If you're not sure you'll make it, go ahead and email me. That way I can send you the location and my number.

So I ended up getting lost, and to add insult to injury, my phone died on me

Sorry BJ, tried to make it. I should have written down the directions but oh well, lesson learned I suppose.

I've been dead on the inside, seems like a place I'd like to check out at some point. Always on the lookout for more of "dive" type places around here. Thanks for posting up about it.

God I'm glad I don't hangovers all that bad, I was still completely smashed at about 4am. Had great fun, and still have no idea how I lost all my money. The last thing I remember I was still a couple bucks ahead. I blame symmetry.

Thanks for hosting BJ!

yeah, yeah. Topher actually won the money. If you had been around here a few years ago, you would have known you were sitting next to a legend (in his own mind at least) and getting the full blunt of one of his verbal assaults.

for those who missed it, Topher was in classic form. I actually started feeling bad for you and eased up a ton over some of the stuff I normally would have said.

Of coarse it is all in fun.

He needs to up his game if that was the full brunt of a verbal assault, the watermelon shit was funny, and I'll give that the snowcone schtick was pretty damned good, but he needed to switch it up a bit and insert some new material in after the third or fourth time.
We had a blast though, and it was all in good fun, I've got thick skin and it takes a lot more than a few jokes about my fake cigarettes to get me butthurt. We're in for the next game if we're in town that weekend.
