| 1991 - 1999 (E36) (1991 - 1999) The first modern 3 Series, the E36, was the model that paved the way for the 3 Series to be named "Car of the Year" every year since the model was driving off showroom floors. Radically redesigned in 1992, the E36 was not the same 3 Series as the E21 and E30. Larger, less boxy in design, and equipped with a dual overhead cam engine, multilink rear suspension, and a more finished interior, the E36 balances sport with luxury. |

Greetings!
Hello all. I heard about this forum from bimmerfest.com. I have peeked in here every now-and-again, and finally decided to join. Mostly due to more folks in the middle of the country being in here lol. I currently reside in Wichita, KS.
I drive a 96 328is 5sp, Alpine white, of course. I have only owned it for a couple of months, so not much has been done to it. I am a perpetual college student currently majoring in psychology and entering my masters program in social work. I have completed minors in... Women's Studies, Asian studies, sociology, business administration, and education. As my name suggests, I have previously been in the JDM game with Hondas. I had an all motor Civic that ran high 13's, a "baller" Acura Legend, an entertaining Mitsubishi Lancer (OZ edition... yawn), and my first entry into customization - the lame Civic on 17's with fart can exhaust when I was 17. After I make enough posts, I'll share pictures and stuff. |

Thanks for the greets. No, I will not fart can the BMW, I was actually looking at the Remus and SuperSprint exhausts. My last Civic ran open header, so noise isn't much of an issue, heh. I like the Euro-rasp sound, and I think Remus had the best sounding exhaust for that sound.
RWD is rather nice. Accelerating out of a corner makes you turn, instead of going in a straight line - it's rather nice. |
