1991 - 1999 (E36) (1991 - 1999) The first modern 3 Series, the E36, was the model that paved the way for the 3 Series to be named "Car of the Year" every year since the model was driving off showroom floors. Radically redesigned in 1992, the E36 was not the same 3 Series as the E21 and E30. Larger, less boxy in design, and equipped with a dual overhead cam engine, multilink rear suspension, and a more finished interior, the E36 balances sport with luxury.

Greetings!

Hello all. I heard about this forum from bimmerfest.com. I have peeked in here every now-and-again, and finally decided to join. Mostly due to more folks in the middle of the country being in here lol. I currently reside in Wichita, KS.

I drive a 96 328is 5sp, Alpine white, of course. I have only owned it for a couple of months, so not much has been done to it.

I am a perpetual college student currently majoring in psychology and entering my masters program in social work. I have completed minors in... Women's Studies, Asian studies, sociology, business administration, and education.

As my name suggests, I have previously been in the JDM game with Hondas. I had an all motor Civic that ran high 13's, a "baller" Acura Legend, an entertaining Mitsubishi Lancer (OZ edition... yawn), and my first entry into customization - the lame Civic on 17's with fart can exhaust when I was 17.

After I make enough posts, I'll share pictures and stuff.

Welcome to the "real" side. Owning a BMW, you'll understand why they refer to it as the Ultimate Driving Machine!

Thanks for the greets. No, I will not fart can the BMW, I was actually looking at the Remus and SuperSprint exhausts. My last Civic ran open header, so noise isn't much of an issue, heh. I like the Euro-rasp sound, and I think Remus had the best sounding exhaust for that sound.

RWD is rather nice. Accelerating out of a corner makes you turn, instead of going in a straight line - it's rather nice.

I'm guessing of the bimmer. They are boring, but yes, I do.

Just an Alpine HU, bubblin' door panels, and droopy head liner lol!

Here's a couple of my previous cars' interiors though...
02 Lancer (yawn edition)
Sony 7" indash, 'glassed DVD player into coin tray, Game Cube in the back, 3 Sony aluminum cone 10" woofers, Total components in doors, Total coax in rear deck, Memphis PR1000.1, Sony 2ch amp, Stinger 1.0f cap. Lots of yellow, dash painted, cup holders painted, cheap arse yellow/black racing seats...

Legend
12w7 woofer, Memphis PR1000.1, Memphis Belle 4.1, Memphis carbon/kevlar convertable components in the custom kick panels, JL VR series component woofer in door locations for mids, Alpine HU, Batcap to power it all.
