M-pars are huge. 18s in general look nice and big. Stick with 17s if you want a more performance-oriented car.

to OP i'd just throw some bbs rc, style 5's, or any oem m3 rim on.

Nice wheels, it only cost me $345 to get them powder coated. The bolts, caps and tires were the expensive part.

borbet type A's (sort of hit and miss with people, but I love em)
oz mitos and futuras

It really doesn't matter if they're like bbs's, if you like the way they look, then I'd go for it. Those would look sick on a lowered car, I wish I could have found a set like that when I was looking for rims

yea thats a very good price, if they are on an e36 they will ft fine, but if they are coming off of an e39 you will need to pick up some hub centric rings for it sizes:74mm outside to 72.56mm inside. let us know if you pick them up, i can show you where to get the centric rings from and what size tires you'll probably need to run( will need to know what your suspension setup is)
