X3, X5 & X6 (E53, E70, E71, E83) (2000 - current) BMW invented a new word when they introduced their SUVs to the world: Sport Activity Vehicle. Sportier and with more car like agility than the standard SUV, with all of the hauling perks for a more active lifestyle. Introduced in 1996, the X5 continues to be a hit. The younger sibling, the X3, was born in 2003.

GRRR - no goodwill program in Canada - Pixel Issue

I had called BMW NA which is actually just BMW USA, and they couldn't help me because my car is from Canada, and while they were aware of the pixel issue, had to send me to BMW Canada to get help.

I called BMW Canada and they were super helpful and I went through the process required and had the goodwill manager review my request.

Anyways, they REJECTED ME.

This sucks. Has anyone in Canada had success in getting BMW to assist with this?

i don't think anyone in the US would have helped you either with a '95. The oldest car I've seen receive assistance was a '98 model. And that was about a year ago, plus, they only covered 25% of the part (no labor covered). So I'm thinking they cut the cord at about 10 years.

critter7r - the vehicle is a 2001 BMW X5, not a 1995. They didnt' make the X in 1995. either way, they wouldn't help me.

biggyalex - the going rate for this service is $300. I've found a place in Toronto and in California that will do it for that rate in their respective currencies.
