Victim of hit & run - need body shop recommendations

Does anyone know of a good body shop somewhere in or around the New Bedford MA area? Someone smashed into my M3 in the middle of the night (while parked). The front end is a mess.

Thanks

The closest to down there I've used is Sansossio's in Framingham. Drive around to the ones in your area... see which ones the nicer cars are at. Bummer about the hit & run.

Are you paying out of pocket or is insurance covering it? Not sure about their prices, but BMW Gallery in Norwood on rte 1 has a body shop.

Insurance will be covering it, although the adjuster will not be out to see it until tomorrow so I don't know what the estimate will be yet. I found a place in Westport called Distinctive Auto Body that I will probably go with. I remembered a local guy from PCNA years ago who talked about the quality of their work. I checked out the place yesterday, talked with the owner, and felt comfortable with the place. We'll see how it goes.

APC in Dartmouth does a pretty good job. They resprayed the hood on an acquaintance's silver 996, and the match was really good, and the clearcoat had a very similar texture to the factory. They are also very reasonable in pricing.

Well, I was able to pick up the car yesterday from Distinctive Autobody in Westport. For any of you who are local I wanted to let you know that they did a really nice job. I am very impressed with their work and would definitely use them again in the future. If you are ever in need, put them on your short list of places to check out.
