Best source for paint by the quart?

One downside of the economy has been having to move from a very large house to a much smaller house more in the boonies, but it has property and an out building! In the 32' x 50' steel outbuilding that came with the small home we purchased came a high bay door and a regular height roll-up door and a heated and air conditioned nice newer building. Inside the building I find the previous owner was a hot rod builder extraordinaire... he built a full-sized spray paint booth into the building with a huge compressor, electrostatic air cleaner and then the door leading into the spray booth is solid air filters. When you seal these doors you can then start a puller fan to exhaust the over-spray. The walls and ceiling is full to the max with fluorescent lighting. So, I guess I better get good at body work. My question is this. I bought, some time ago, a quart of orient blue paint and the clear coat. I took it to my body man to paint my bumper and he used the paint, but said he could not spray the clear as it was not a water-base or whatever. He just used his own clear. Since the booth is mine and if I want to take a chance it is my business, who has the best prices for BMW paint and the same clear-coat they use unless it requires heat. I love how durable the Oem paint job is and want to be as close to their toughness as possible. Need advice so that I start off learning the right way. Use good paint and a great clear. Who in terms of a vendor or a brand does everyone like?

So.
Jealous.

The only way I'll have property like that in SoCal is if I move inland (Never) or win the lottery. You are going to have so much fun.....

Try a Sherwin Williams Auto paint store. They can even sell a pint. Do post some pictures of your paint booth.
