SuperGP loses A1GP as event descends into shambles
The former Indy 300, who last year decided to let the Indy cars go, have been left red faced as it now seems A1GP won't show up for the $11M event next Thursday-Saturday. Pretty disgraceful

A1GP is financial poopoo since the global recession hit
has left the new racetrack in Taupo a bit fucked as well its a shame, i like the concept of A1GP  :

Yes, they but they have been in financial strife for more than a year, perhaps the SuperGP organisers should've pulled the thumb out and kept the Indy car series. Apparently they will just fill the void with more V8 races, I like V8's but part of Indy was getting to see an international open wheeler series
