CEL in my e46 m3

Hello guys and gals,
I've been registered here for a long time now, but never posted here before. Anyway, I have the following problem: for the last couple of months I've been getting CEL light on with the following codes: P0420 & P0430. I understand they are related to catalytic converter. I've done some research and some people suggest that it might be the oxygen sensors. But if I understand correctly, m3 has 2 cats, and it is a little weird that they show up to both at the same time.
Any idea what this might causing?
Thank you!
Danila

There's a recall on the E46 M3 for the catalytic converter being set too sensitive causing trigger codes. Go to your dealer and have them update your software. There's a service bulletin out there for it.
