Help with Aiming Headlights

I tried posting this in the Lighting Forum but haven't really generated much converstaion on it. Unfortunatly, this is kinda bad for me when driving at night so I figured I would try and post this year to generate a better outcome. This is my dilemma.

So I am having one hell of a time getting my headlights aimed. I know this is really not good that they are so far apart but I have tried every adjustment and nothing to raise up the driver's side projection. These are ZKWs as well that I bought from BavToys. Let me know if there is a solution to this.

If they are installed properly then use the adjustments on the back.

Up and down is adjusted by those plastic screw on pegs, though I usually just adjust them to match the contour of the body and then adj. the hex screws behind them for left and right.

tried both the screws and the fine tuning. neither seemed to do much.

Is the bulb inserted correctly? It might be misaligned.

You are going to have to pull the headlight and check that the adjusting mechinism is still actually attached to the interior assembly of the light.

If the adjusters have no effect, it's possible that they came off.

Other than that, you use the screw in mounting posts for gross adjustment, and then use the internal adjusters for fine tuning.

should i worry about getting a feeler gauge to measure the 2.5mm gap that is supposed to be there between the lower painted piece and the headlight and then 1.5mm gap between the headlight and the hood (per bently manual). or do you guys just not worry about that?
