I thought it was "actuator" not activator. But either way, that is likely your problem. I just replaced one on a friend's Dodge Durango. I have had one replaced on my 540 way back under warranty...it was occaisionaly intermittment....looks like it is doing it again, and may be due for replacement again.

    Replaced !
I was not able to DIY so i paid 100$ to my indy
He said it was a pain job ...

Now i can open/close all my doors from remote key
but sometimes it works very slow and also range is very short .

Can it be a battery issue or it's related to keys ?
Both keys looks like work the same ...

    Guys,

I just got done replacing my read driver side door actuator. I had to take the latching mechanism out to pop off the actuator. It went ok. Now I need to do the same for my drivers side front door. There is an airbag I noticed. Do I need to take off the airbag? Any thing I have to be careful about. I'm planning to disconnect the battery for this job.
