New Wheels

...well, new to me anyway. RD RGP's IIRC, staggered, 17x8.5/9.5. Picked them up from BF user Camshaft in King of Prussia last week. Did a little work on the lips and threw 'em on... center caps are on order. I'll finish them up over the winter time, along with the Throwing Stars they replaced. Tallied up a fair amount of hours in parts replacing and work on this car in the weeks since the East Coast Meetup. New clutch, new rear modified subframe and associated bushings, new front hub/bearings and now wheels. Car is riding like new though, so it's all been worth it!!! Enjoy the pics... I'll be out driving, lol!

Garey

You know, I heard somewhere that the only proper color for a German sports car is silver, lol...

Those wheels look good. You definitely need to get pics in the sun where the reflective lighting doesn't make your car look bronzit.

What size tires are your running?

I liked it with the t-stars, but these look even better. Something new to look at when you drive past my work. I'm in front of IMC on Grayson Rd.

Yes, I stuck with him through a few failed transactions and got them for a song. They were a little rough, since they had been on an E30 M3 race car for their entire life, but everything can be renewed with enough elbow grease...

Thanks Josh,

How about this...

The fronts are a 235/45 and the rears are a 255/40. I will go up to a 265 or 275 for the rears when this set needs replaced. Still have room and honestly, the 255's are a little too stretched for my liking. That won't happen 'til spring, though.

How about that for a small world... I look for your 525 every time I go in the parking lot... my wife thought it was creepy we were both on this forum, knew each others cars, but had never met... chicks just don't get some things

Sweet. My dad lives over that way. If he needs work done on his E32 I'll tell him that you are local.

No problem, I've got one of those, too. Tell him to stop in if he needs anything...
