walked away from rsx-s

so i was getting back home with my gf who was driving behind me. we stopped at a light, and i asked her to see if my trunk rattles too much from my subwoofer (lately i've been hearing some distortion). at the same time a blue lowered rsx-s with a fart can pulls right next to me with his music all the way to the max. so i pull a bit forward, so my trunk gets to my gf's front door, so she can hear if there is any rattle...and i see that rsx moving forward too. so i knew he would try to smoke me. so i turn around to talk to my gf, and the next thing i know, the light is green and that dude's fart can is revving up. i look at his car and he was already slipping his clutch and taking off. lucky me, i was still in gear, so i dropped that clutch and went for it. by the end of first, i catched up on him and i was at his rear wheel, and by the end of 2nd, i was a bit infront of him. my traction kicked in when i dropped in 2nd so that slowed me down a bit. i threw in 3rd and he was at least a car length behind me.

by that time my gf was waaaay back, so i hit my emergency lights to let him know he sucked ass, and i tapped my brakes to slow down. but he flew by me and continued accelerating...

it's fun when you debadge your beast and people don't konw what they are getting into

He just means the traction control. My car will bog down too if I forget to turn it off and get happy with the throttle.

yep, that's what i meant. i didn't have time to turn it off. if it is off, the 540 will slightly spin tires shifting into 2nd, and a tad bit when shifting in 3rd.

that's right. they do it all the time around here...with their little hondas, so i make them suffer in their own game. simple as that.

nice kill, i've beaten a couple rsx type-s's down here but they weren't turbo charged or had anything more than an exhaust, wheels, intake (possibly), and a chip. Then again...i'm not turbo'd either

I wonder how long it will take before this turns into a E36 M3 vs E39 540i argument...

DTC button on your center console by the hazard light button, press it to go into Dynamic Traction Control mode and hold it for a few seconds to turn it fully off.

slightly more on topic, I decided to see just how bad my tires have gotten and found I can chirp into 3rd now with my 328i

I was at a dragstrip this weekend and two street legal sub-11 sec cars were battling it out. The lead guy threw on his hazards just before the finish line.. many lulz were heard in the crowd.

Isn't the OPs car like a 2 ton pig?

Haha whatever you say buddy, but I don't think you'll be walking anything worth racing with your traction control on
