parking lot a-holes.

Some asshole keyed my rear driver leather door panel on the top of my vert. Made a nice rip in the leather about 3" long. Sucks as I was just getting the front and rear seats re upholstered and the door panels were mint.

Se La Ve.

That kind of stuff makes me want to booby trap my car such that if someone else messes with it, it shoots them with a tazer and then shocks them every few seconds so they dont get a chance to get away. Then it would also call my phone so I could come out and watch. I'd totally do it if I wasn't afraid of some little kid getting caught in it by accident.
The radio was stolen out of my iX the other night while it sat in my driveway. The theif also rummaged around in my M3, and left the glovebox, the passenger door to both cars, and the trunk to both cars OPEN, but didn't take anything else that I've noticed so far. Apparently they wanted to run my batteries down :P.

I dont understand what they keyed. You say leather door panel but then on top of your vert? And arent the door panels vinyl?

The top was down while I ran inside really quick and they keyed a hole in the top of the vinyl door card.

Upside - I think I may have found a replacement and I just picked up a near mint set of 15" factory BMW wheels by BBS for $100

I understand how. That is pretty messed up. Maybe its a good thing the top was down because they might have slashed the top. Nice find on the wheels.

If they're IX offset (et41) you'll need spacers to run them. If they're ET24 they're euroweaves and that is an excellent score.

Gonna test fit em tomorrow without rubber on em as I still need to buy rubber but if they do need spacers where will they rub?

I parked nice and tight in a parking lot space.

I came out of a theater last weekend and some clown had shoved a bunch of trash through the 1/2 inch space I had left my window down. When I leave the top up I'm convinced it will get cut and when it's down people throw trash in it. I want on the list if someone devlopes a car security system that fights back.

I typically leave my top down just for the reason that if someone wants in my vert they'll slice and dice. I just don't leave anything of value in the car. never had the gift of garbage however.... that's just F&cked up.

I leave my top up in case it rains or something like that, but I used to leave the doors unlocked so in case some guy wanted the change sitting in the ashtray they could have it without cutting up my top. I started locking recently though, because of the incident I mentioned above.
