*Orlando, FL Cars & Cafe "Saturday" 09/26/09* NEW LOCATION!!!!!!!!!!

Over the past 15 months, OAC’s Cars and Café® has grown by leaps and bounds. So much so, we are pleased to announce that Cars and Café® as you know it is about to undergo some major changes! Have no fear; this is not a good thing coming to an end. This is a good thing that is about to get better.
We have taken your venue feedback and worked overtime to make your desires a reality. In turn, we are proud to declare: Route 46 Entertainment District®- as our new OAC Cars and Café® venue!
THE GOOD NEWS Route 46 Entertainment District® is located on- you guessed it- route 46. This is also good news for the commuters because our new location is literally down the street from our old location.

* The second piece of good news centers on the venue itself. Imagine if we could shift all the restaurants at the old location to within four or five baby steps (not in a philosophical sense- we mean literally!) of the old staging area. This is exactly what we have at Route 46. In fact, if we were any closer, we would be inside the Smokehouse.

* The third piece of good news is a direct pull from the second. In one word: Environment. The designers of the Route 46 Entertainment District® had a vision and oops it just so happens that they have a thing for cars. Seriously!

* From the proprietors of The Route 46 Entertainment District:
* Overall Description: Cool, Flirtatious, Combustive
* Theme: Perfecting the Past
* Restaurants:
* Monroe’s at Route 46® : Warm, Upper Casual, Eclectic & Fresh
* The Smokehouse at Route 46®: Not your standard barbecue. Sauce is not required!
* Garage Bar at Route 46™: Not your parents' watering hole
* The Saloon at Route 46®: The Saloon at Route 46® is a refined bar and lounge, where you can gather with old friends for a classic martini and a good story.
* But if fancy words don’t do anything for you, try these on for size:
* Bathrooms- accessible in baby steps
* Cold Bottled Water - accessible in baby steps
* A/C (as in ice cold air)- accessible in baby steps
* Breakfast! available at 7am—served within a few feet of the main staging area
* Coffee (boost +1)
* Lunch available at 11 noon—served within a few feet of the main staging area
* Indoor and Patio seating w/ access to outdoor music and demos – all event

In other words, you could stage your ride, eat and watch while others view your ride. It’s that simple!

We are very excited about what this could mean for the Cars and Café® faithful and we sincerely hope that each and everyone will come out and celebrate the next evolution of Cars and Café® (Orlando). See you there….

Best Regards,
Orlando Automotive Club

Pretty big. There is a ton of cars, of all different types. Its a GREAT event for anyone who likes cars in general. Quite a few are cars that have heavy price tags, and some are just clean enthusiast owned DDs. We go out there every month with my bro's E90 330 sport w/ some other local euros. This month we have a big group coming from Brevard county and UCF.

We have been averaging just over 100 cars each month. Here is a set of photos from the August Orlando Cars and Café meet. If you need to see more, here is a link to the full Orlando Cars and Café collection
See you there!

A huge turn out yesterday at our new location wow! A few BMW selects I shot yesterday:

The full set and larger versions can be found here: Orlando Cars and Café - September Photos.

I was stunned we had four M Coupes there! I didn't have time to socialize much but am wondering if any of the M Coupe owners there yesterday frequent this board?

The Estoril turbo Coupe is Brian, MCoupeS52. His turbo build thread is in the forced induction section now, the car has only been running since Tuesday. The black SC'd S54 Coupe belongs to Batman2, unsure of the others.

I took those It was a great event. Brian was nice enough to give me a ride in his newly turboed M coupe...and it hauls major butt! It pulls so much harder than my turbo g35 does. It made me sad

Thanks, man! I appreciate that. Hopefully, I'll be setting up a shoot with Brian's M coupe soon. He owes me another ride. And if he doesn't...I'll post of a picture of his ghetto rigged manifold

You stay the hell out of the Coupe! It's only broken once and it was when you were in it! That tells me something no?

I appreciate that. I'm using a Canon XTi with a Sigma 17-70.

Hahaha... if it wasn't for me, Brian wouldn't have boost.

Back when we were NA, I ran a 14.0 and he ran a 13.7.
Then I stepped up with the Turbonetics kit and ran a 12.2 @ 116mph.
Brian tried to catch me with nitrous, but his 12.7 wasn't enough...so he had to put the snail on to top me.

Brian...let's do it soon.
