BMW SSS Progman with OBD interface

Hi

Now that GT1 is ok I`am starting one progman. does any one have a pointer to witch php file and tabel, to alter to get Progman to use ediabas / OBD ?

I would love to help you, but I can't seem to find SSS Progman for download, and I'm curious to try it myself.

Guys , it's a long shot with sad story for some including me
I've just burned the CAS module for a '05 E60 Euro. i have used a generator of max 30Amps and took all the precautions but still bricked the car.
Don't get me wrong. I love challenges but now is getting so expensive :P i think i need a new module, new keys, new locks for the car and serious recoding. CAS module is something like the old EWS but ore secure and handle more security features. The car is completely dead without it. No lights on dash, no ignition , no central lock, no seats. like the car has no power. Only when you open the door of the trunk there is a light and the backdoors power windows works.
I've took the module to a guy to see if he can reprogram the flash inside the MCU. For that he needs the same firmware that it was originally before i started the Progman 32 update.
I'll post updates. but long story short: don't mess with Progman if the car works you may end like me! or not

what were you trying to do? What interface were you using with SSS?

trying to program the latest v32 software for the modules. it's an old car CIP v27. to do coding like disable seat belt warning i needed to be at the baseline with v32 for about 5 modules. it started to program over DIAGBUS and at the first module, error, red X.

i use VMware images for SSS/Progman v32 and another vmware machine for OPS head emulation (basically ediabas ifshelp32 with usb inpa interface 192.168.68.1)

Did you have to adjust anything on the SSS\progman system to connect to your OBD interface? This si what I am trying to acheive now.

I found this file on a polish BMW forum that has the modified fiels to use progman with the OBD interface. I have not yet tested it though: http://rapidshare.com/files/166005128/changes.rar

Did you try the emulator yet? I was wondering if it can help Carsoft working to a Can-bus car (E60).

I got the ISO you linked, but I'm lost at what to do with those files. Could you explain where the files should go?

This is from memory, but it is something like this:
You need to edit the registry on the virtual machine to make the shell explorer.exe. Boot the virtual machine and it will load the Windows XP desktop. Then load the ISO as the CD drive for the virtual machine so that the contents of the ISO are visible in your virtual machine, and run the bat file that is on it.

Hi randomy,
I also have SSS in vmware but i don't know how to open regedit ( because when windows starts is auto-lunching progman).
Can you tell how to avoid this ?
