random night shots/my new mod

I thought it would be cool to take some pics of my e39 since i just took off the center caps off my stock 15 inchers (only cause 1 had broken off so i figured all off looks better than 3 on and 1 off). And surprisingly it looks pretty good.

Unfortunately i forgot it was night time so you can't see the nice look of the wheels being "center-capless." but i did get a few shots that i thought looked good. I know i need a drop.

And yes i know my headlights are not aligned correctly as you can see in this first pic, i enjoy them how they are .

For reference.. the fogs are 3K and the headlights 6K... and CCFL AE's..

1st pic is horrible quality of the car... but shows a sweet shot of my lights..

Clearer shot of the rear

Yeah i know i suck at taking pictures, bad camera. I like the look of the wheels on the last one if you look closely. Anyways enjoy... or don't since looking at a stock height e39 isnt all that exciting

3K HID Fogs. custom fitted by myself. took about an hour. cost me nothing except 40 bucks for the HID's. Yet im sure u notice i have the stock fog housing (square shape) So im not sure how the fitment would be on the other types of fogs. But for these all you have to do is drill a hole so the back of the bulb can fit and it turns out really nice and ended up being a much cleaner install than I thought.

I dont have yellow film and film will not change the color output of your light by much. But i plan to get yellow lamin-x and it seems almost the same color as 3K HID's.. I like the yellow look during the day time but dont want to have them on always so thats where the films handy.

not a bad camera...just a bad operator

get yourself a tripod and use the shutter timer. If you can, put the camera in some type of manual mode that will allow you to expose the image to your liking

yeah its just a crappy point and shoot camera. prolly 5 years old. It does have some nice manual modes.. but at night its just kind of hard.

But tomorow im getting some shots done by my friend with an amazing camera and good shooting skills. (then youll really be able to see the 4x4 status in day time)

it's only hard if you make it hard

if it has manual controls....
set the aperture to F5.6-F8
set the shutter to 20-30 seconds.
set iso to as low as it will go.

You can do it!!

Show your friend with the fancy camera that it's not about the equipment...it's about the operator

Not feeling the depos, I would of spent the money on the suspension instead.

I see those blinker bulbs on a lot in pics, are those always on or ??

yeah those blinkers are always on. the DEPO lights are pre-wired so they are on then blink when you use them. I need to cut the wire so they do have constant power going to them... im just too lazy too.

They look ugly and they gave me the wrong bulb so its an ugly amber. But i disagree with you. My old headlights were not HID's.. were cloudy, scratched and just disgusting. These dont look good as the 01+ ones, but for light output they are damn good and overall they look sweet.

But i do thank you for noticing that... i really need to cut that brown wire. ( i think its the brown wire lol.)

i have more than lighting upgrades . you forgot my window tint !!
are we allowed to post videos on this forum?

because theres a few reasons why i dont have money lying around for suspension/wheels.

because of 1). Obama. lol j/k
2) I spent too much on my car audio. and by too much i mean $25xx dollars worth.

But dont worry ill get a new suspension/wheels soon, because i know
Obama will save me from my poor roots .
