02 525i E39 windshield washer reservoir leak

Hello All,

I have a 2002 525i with a small leak in the windshield washer reservoir. I found this to be most aggravating because the car will "ding" at me while driving. Usually no problem to replace a busted jug, or rubber grommet holding in the pump. 'Cept I'm not 100% sure as to the location of the jug. I believe that it's behind the inner fender of the passengers front tire, but before I go taking it all apart, I want to be sure.

looking for definitive confirmation of location, or procedure to access the jug to look for cracks etc...

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance...

yes it is located there. More than likely the pump is leaking. Very rare to see a jug leak unless the water froze in it. If not the pump , I have a jug I will sell you for cheap if you need it. just PM me. I am cleaning out all my BMW stuff from the garage.
