Z3 (E36/7, E36/8) (1996 - 2002) In 1996 BMW added the Z3 to the lineup. First available only with the 1.9 liter engine, the Z3 went on to carry every 6 cylinder produced between 1996 and 2002. A fun, sporty little 2 seater came both in convertible and coupe form. Being a bit of a “parts bin” car, the Z3 is part E30, part E36, but all original.

looking for brand-new M Roadstar wheels

I'm looking to buy a set of four brand-new OE M Roadstar wheels (Chrome Shadow). Anyone know were I can get a good deal on such wheels? I've called a couple local dealers and one dealer quoted me $660 per front and $742 per rear, while the second dealer quoted $838 per front and $942 per rear which seemed ridiculous to me. Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated!

Brand new? Dealer is the only place you'll find that, and those prices sound about right.

You can find some good ones around the boards if you take your time and aren't in a hurry. Some of these guys with 18 & 19" wheels have great looking wheels you may be able to pickup.

I see them pop up every couple of months too - just hit CL and the different forums weekly.

I have a set w/ tires (Rears are bald). cracks/road rash, but you could probably get them fixed/powdercoated for a small amount. Maybe more costly than dealer w/ shipping, I dunno. I'd have to figure out what shipping is.

If you're after a brand new *mint* set... no other place than to go straight to the dealer.

Keep checking Ebay & Craigslist for used sets. They pop up from time to time.

I have a set of Roadstars that've never had tires on them, but they've been completely stripped and polished. Someday, I'll figure out what I want to do with them (paint the centers to match the car, but which car?)...

My BMW dealer quoted fronts at $410 and rears at $460. That was three weeks ago. Sales are soft and your parts manager will deal.
