Back to the dyno today. Went to a Dyno Dynamics at a local shop Dyno Tuned Performance. Put down 460whp/420wtq @ 17PSI. Still rich, running 10.5, dipping down to 10 AFR. Still should be some decent power left to achieve, just gotta correct the AFR to be a bit leaner.
Previous shop I went to had a Mustang Dyno, but the shop closed. Not sure if it's temporary. But the guys at this new shop were real cool, and I look forward to going back once the tune is straight.

What is the correction factor on this DD?
good numbers and looks to be plenty left on the table! nice
I see you took my advice. Sweet, they are my buddy's! Very stand up guys! They hold track events, both drag and VIR. Ask them to get on the mailing list.
Nice numbers BTW...
Specs on the car?
Motor, or displacement, tuning, fuel etc?
Nice numbers though.

you can def tell you have an open dump wg. next time i go turbo im rerouting it back into the downpipe. shit always gave me a headache. sweet setup!!
I have the 1 3/4" pipe and v-band to route it back. Just have to get with my father-in-law to weld it up. I'm ready for it to be routed myself.
He didn't mess with any settings while I was there. Just did the runs, and we analyzed the output data.

Yeah man, huge power. Not uncommon for 600-800whp cars to roll out of there. They just had a TT charger making around 800whp, Brent was tuning it, pretty sick.
I am not an expert by any means but it seems that you should be able to squeeze quite a bit more out of your set up. No?

He was telling me about it on the phone yesterday, was hoping it would be at the shop today.
What's that mean George? Is that standard on Dyno Dynamics?
I'm not expert either, but I'd think if they can clean up the AFR and get it out of the 10's and up to 11.5, I think I'd see a bit more power at this boost level.

Looks good! Nice smooth AFR's even if rather rich.
Do you think you got any wheel spin on the dyno? In the last vid it seems like your whole rear kind of moved. Maybe it wasn't strapped down right? I bet if you were at say 11.3-5 you would pick up 20-30whp easily. Are you sending the run files over to Trm for a retune/revision?
Shark Edit is coming. When? We do not know
The shop owners are both personnel friends of mine. I know for a fact they do not skew any correction factors etc. They are known for having the lowest/most accurate dyno in the area hence why other shops are closing their doors. Not really sure why this is being discussed anyways.
Here is the conversion chart for this dyno to dynojet.

Looks like you made 541rwhp and 494lbs of torque if this was on a dynojet.
Nice numbers

That calculator is skewed. I have visited multiple dynos in my area, the dyno dynamic dyno read lower but only by a few whp, not the 100 or so in that calculator. I am not an expert or even experienced but.. that calculator does not seem accurate.
Agreed, even if I plug in my comparitively low numbers, it is throwing stuff at me that would be WAY off, no way 221 on a dyno dynamics is going to turn into like 250 on a dynojet...

Rito,
Definitely not making that much power. I'd have to be on race gas and meth to get there. And this car is only going to be on pump gas for a while.
I think we'll get real close to 500whp.
