Head rest / restraint tilt ?

Have a 2007 335i coupe (bought used) and took my first long road trip last week. Could NOT get the head rests to tilt. Is it possible to do? Owner's manual is no help.

It should tilt. I can tilt mine so far forward so that it pokes me in the back of the head in my normal seating position.

Not what the OP was asking, but FYI, the rears don't fold if I recall correctly.

On my 2006 the headrests do tilt, and my ride is a base sedan, so yours should tilt forward.
