    Update on the turbo E21

Well the car is almost done, We put the piping on and ran the car, man that turbo sounds AWSOME!!!!, we couldnt run it all the way cause we have to work on the advance, since it works with vacumn, we have to fix that, my dad took the car out on the street to see what it can do and he says it would have taken off if he had pushed it more but felt that the motor was holding back about of the advance, like i said couldnt run it all the way. It really sound great, all I need to do is get my BOV (sold the blitz and got a greddy type S) and need to be the piping make ( we made the mold out of PVC). all in all it is coming together great and the turbo should be done shortly. JUst thought I would let you guys know.

P.S it now spins the tires down low and didnt B4

yeah, i wondering how the callaway kits took care of the vacuum advance.

oh yeah, i was browsing on racetep.com and found that they sell high flow (+5%) injectors for the 320i.....here's the link http://racetep.com/2002pl0902.htm it's almost at the bottom of the webpage under the bold type: Fuel Injection and D.I.S. ignition

Thats awsome, Im not sure how much my car wieghts, do you know what the stock wieght is? It is lightened a bit but with the turbo I think it evens out..The seat are lighter, A/C comp. is off, no spare tire or jack. That camara is a good one I took that pic and I didnt focus it that well.

Then my car is about that, I had a bigger battery to thats in back so I have a better wieght distribution. I also installed a water spray on the intercooler, you know those round oil things that you see at pepboys, well I'm going to put one of those were the spare tire was and it will get water from there. We are going to put in a pump and everything. Sadly I will no longer have a system in the car just a radio and 4 speakers,no more subs .

think those high flow injectors are worth it? I'm about to rebuild my head for my new engine, and if it'd be a worthy investment i might consider it. But I'm not gunna be running more than 10 psi boost

at 10 psi you won't need them. The fuel distributor will likely become your first bottle neck.

    Holy old thread lol

Basicly what JR said goes, but the injectors will help smooth things out. I noticed a difference from the old inj. to the high fuel ones.

They were 17's. I was young, new nothing of the E21, never heard of forums, and didnt know much about "period correct". Those lasted all but 6 months untill I heard about forums and quickly understood that those were not what should have been on the car.
