Secondary mount for Alpina diff cover?

I've been searching on realoem but I can't find the second mount needed to put on the Alpina diff cover. I was told this mount needs to be welded to the rear subframe. Called a couple dealerships but they weren't any help. Anyone running the cover know the part number or where I can buy one?

I did mine the ol' fashioned way. I cut it off my old trunk floor. In your case I'd imagine you'd cut it off a junk car, or make one.

Nice work..but is that on the rear subframe or the trunk floor?
I have the alpina diff cover and have yet to put it on....

Any pics of the floor installed in the car with these tabs?

the diff bolts to the floor not the subframe.

You can see the mounts in this pic.

technically, the diff bolts to both, but only the cover bolts to the floor.

but since I was replying to joe, it specifically relates to his post and not an actual car.

I don't know what the size is on that but it looks like you could make one out of 16g rectangular box tube pretty easily. Might have to be metric to be exactly the same, but I doubt something of similar size would be functionally inferior.

dont really need tube, just use some 3mm flat plate. Just cut 2 rectangles and weld them to the outside of the cross section in the floor pan.
