Tonight I started working on wrapping my turbo inlet pipe because it runs really close to the manifold and I suspect it picks up a lot of extra heat. I bought some reflective fiberglass heat tape from summit racing for $7/roll and started with the first pipe tonight. I also put a piece of tape across the top of the compressor housing to shield some of the radiant heat from the manifold.
The next step will be wrapping the manifold with a heat shield to block more radiant heat from the rest of the engine bay. I may also wrap the intake pipe because it runs behind the radiator and very close to hot coolant hoses.

I'll probably invest in some of that as well. As anyone with a BAE kit knows, the big charge tube runs about 3 mm from the exhaust manifold, which is a problem.
Sweet...
Consider fabricating a heat shield around the exhaust manifold as well. I did a heat shield with fiber-glass and mesh screen around my reactor and it works pretty good.
Super Job you doing, Robert

Nice work Josh, looks good.
i've never seen a dinan turbo manifold before, those must be pretty rare!
