Took some work, but the seem to fit....
The fronts are totally FINE! The rears were fine last week, but at yesterday's event the drivers side rubbed slightly...but I think/hope we solved the problem...
Thanks

Monsters. They look fantastic, I love that front shot. 285 fronts, amazing.

Stuff. I got stuff.
OK Jason, that convinces me that more rubber is a given. At least 275's all the way around. I'll have to start looking for when the current tires are shot which should be in the next four events.

Would you like some coupe to go with your tires?![]()
You have to check....but I am pretty sure the overall diameter of a 275 is going to be too tall.
Width is not the problem up front. As you can see, a Z can take a lot of tire width up front (LOL!!!), you just need to keep the overall diameter as short as possible, and the 285/30/18 is very short. That way you don't have to raise the car up too much.
I am starting to feel the same way...it's getting out of control
LOL!!!!

wow, so even though the tires stick out of the wells up front, you don't contact your hood or rub? Nuts!
Wow, I have been waiting for pics of these. Can't wait to get some driving impressions of the setup. I am not usually a fan of the full polished, but it works on your setup. Just make sure you buy some stock in mothers polish!! Those rears when warm should do the trick as far as putting down the torque on corner exit. Outrageous!

That suspension is up pretty high to keep them off the guards ...

What are the offsets of the wheels??? No idea a 10 would fit up front without modification

I did have to raise it a bit, but it is still much lower than stock.
The rear ride height is around 12.75", and front I forget, but the control arms are dead nuts level.
The pics may be misleading because in each one the car has either come off the lift or jack...and there is some hysteresis in the suspension.![]()
You can definitely fit 315/30 R18 on 18"x11" inside the guards, no need to jack it up.

Very nice, what are the offsets of those wheels?
Looking good Jason! I need to swing by and check it out soon! I want to go for a ride/drive in that monster.

Jason,
The front tires clearly stick out a bit. Does the tire actually tuck in without rubbing or are you just not compressing it that far?
They look amazing. How do they feel?

Not Hoosiers buddy!!!!
I don't care what Tire Rack lists as the size for A6/R6 they are bigger than advertised. I'd say they are closer to a 310...ask the people in the Track forum...they'll tell you Hoosiers run wider....
No they don't tuck up...there is only about 3/4" (maybe less) of travel up front.
It's crazy amount of grip!!!
No problem!![]()
