my car's progress thread... and mod/wish list

***Update... everything with "***" next to it is already done... I will be make a first shoto shoot soon now that the car is almost done to my likings ...

As many of you know my car was involved in an accident which most (at least in the U.S) would have considered it Totaled... As soon as I recovered from everything and took the time to go over what was needed to be done to fix the car, I decided to take on the project and take advantage of the situation to finally mod the car to make it look and perform how I always wanted...

Here is a mod-list of what is going to be done hopefully before years end:

Just wanted to add.... that my custom adapters are on their way so I can get my wheels mounted The wheels are 5x114.3 with a 70.3 mm bore..ET40 rear and 35 front .... I ordered 22mm & 21mm hub centric adapters in order to achieve ET13 front and 19 rear ...thats the offset tire rack lists on OZ 3 piece wheels with the same size as mine with the same tire as mine for the M5 ... since I ordered the M5 rear liners and Im also rolling all my fenders, I dont see why it woudnt work .... will post pics as soon as I have them in my hands

link and pics to said spacer. So it also converts the 5x120 to 5x114.3? Cause i know there is a converter spacer like that for the 72hubboresize, but is this one in the e39 74.1 bore? Ive been looking for this...

You can order anything you want since they are custom made... They mount to my 74.1 bore and on the side the wheel bolts on they are 70.3

12/2009 if all goes well... biggest issue is actually getting the parts from USA to Venezuela at a "decent" rate ... My company normally import 1 container every 4-6 weeks, + 1-2 weeks to get it out of the port it takes me about 7-8 weeks to get something in my hands ....

If I were to pay "door to door" service shipping would be insane

wheel adapters are finally here ... im testing them on tom. morning along with the wheels ... these were taken quickly at the office with the crackberry ... ill take REAL pics tom with the wheels on the car..
