I'm looking to purchase an M52 or S52 pretty soon from a bfc forum member. I have to figure out how I would want it shipped and delivered. I am considering conway, or any other delivery service of that kind.
Anyone have any suggestions/recommendations on who to go to, and how much to expect to pay? I would like it to be delivered to my residence.
anyone have a motor delivered from up north to the MAR? thanks

A local forum member? Have you considered renting a pickup truck? You'll need an engine hoist anyway (and they're cheap at harbor freight). All you have to do is lay it down on a tire.

I had a good experience with R+L carriers -- I'd use them again and I reccomend them. Free lift-gate services and they deliver to residences. I think I paid $225 to ship a palleted engine from Baltimore to NC.
i haven't shipped a motor but,i have a good condition m52 w/ 160k miles(auto) for $650 and i'm local will deliver to s-spring too...
I shipped a motor to NC. It was scheduled to arrive at the buyer's home; however, he got really giddy, and couldn't wait the extra day. So, he drove to the terminal and picked it up.
