    Headliner removal

I'm asking this before I search, I'm sorry...

I am removing the headliner and I'm stuck at the sliding moonroof... I can't disengage the headliner from that area, I'm trying not to be too aggresive because I dont want to tear or damage it, but is there something I'm missing???

    Thanks for any help!!!

    edit: Got it out...

You have to pop the sunroof in tilt and remove the glass, and then the tiny torx screws around the frame holding the headliner on.

Not to add to the valuable content of the thread, but the car in your sig looks wicked! If you wouldn't mind pointing me to some information on wheel/tire combo and suspension setup I'd really appreciate it!

    Thanks,

    Thad

lol ive taken out my headliner and ready for the swap to suede but the problem is trying to get it done at an upholstery shop and for cheaper than 500 for the labor to redo the mat... they charge a butt load...

I found a link on E38.org that showed it being done on a 7 series that helped a lot... Getting it off the rear part of the sliding roof is where I was stuck at...

im not feeling all that two town.. but i do like the black.. but im getting a good deal on some ultrasuede, the real stuff and i think i might jst go with grey so i dont have to deal with all the interior pieces... you should go and get the sunshades redone in suede have them wrap it professionally...

well your moon roof cover doesnt match.. .the handles are tan, so are the seatbelt slider... which looks ridiculous...
and i was talking about the visors... when i said sunshades... which are tan as well if i were to do it i would have done it right... which is happening on mine thats why im doing real ultrasuede with uv protector on top of that... if you dont use good alcantara or ultrasuede your black is gonna look purple in about a couple of years... legit stuff.. read up, i have...

ah i gotcha. well the reason i wanted to leave a two tone affect...and not the upper half black and the bottom beige...is because I'm gonna get my seats sueded down the middle of each seat similar to this...
