Lemfoerder is oem. I'd not even heard that Febi was making those.

Thanks, they are definitely more expensive. Like $70 more. Wasn't sure if it mattered.

I got febi and have not had any problem with them. I couldn't justify spending that much money on Lemforder's

I have Meyle's on one of my E30s. They seem to work fine. Only 10k miles on the install though.

I'm having to replace mine soon , do you mind me asking how long have you Febi's on yours and what milage you've done ?
Here in the uk febi's are about £80 a side Lem's £135 are they worth the difference ? add the rear bushes and drop links it works out £420 both sides ?
Any advice/opinions much appreciated . Cheers JJ

Just a note Febi is a division of bilstien so the febi maybe a better choice considering bilstein is the best name in suspension products

I had Meyle tie rods, and they lasted a year. Don't know anything about Febi, but I think MaxxChris is right: you get what you pay for. I wouldn't put anything other than Lemforder on the car.

Remember that Lemforder made the crappy OE balljoints. So if you want more of the same, use the same, especially if paying too much makes you feel better.
The Meyle products are quite good. I have used them with great success.

I have only had the Febi's in for a few thousand miles. But before buying them I took my time researching the same information and advice that you are currently looking for.

Many people bagged the Febi's because there are not up to OE standard, but hwo many aftermarket parts honestly are?? The people I spoke with said they had no problem with the products so I took the chance, and so far no problems.

Both are great companies! Lemforder is OEM, however Febi is owned by bilstien. Both are great like I said.
