Stunning. I cant decide between the CCW's and the LTW's. Both compliment the wing amazingly well
Before I took it off....
My RCs are 17s.
I like this one.
I approve of this thread....The pics of the cars with the RC's and Fikse's are amazing!

And this year's SAG award goes to?
Amazing how much the reps sag when compared directly to the OE/MA-Shaw wings.

It's not. I had a GT rep without the risers and couldn't see out half my rear view mirror because of it. Plus, it weighs so much that it closes the trunk for you. When the body shop pulled off my rep to install my high arch, they discovered that it had completely ruined the paint on the trunklid because of the fitment and the weight slamming into the trunk when the trunk was closed.
Plus, it blocks your third brake light unless you have the risers installed, and since the risers impede rear view mirror vision even more, you're bound to get attention from a cop every once in a while because of it.
Aside from the fact that I don't think the GT wing belongs on a street car (flame suit on!), the sagging and the quality of the replica that I had was the main reason why I got rid of my GT rep. That, and the fact that the high arch is just so much sexier.
I must say, some of the wings in here look damn good, but I don't think Estoril can pull it off, even without the risers. My favorites are the one on the real LTW as well as on Kim's car. OEM > all.
I'm curious to see an Estoril with a GT wing and risers installed. I don't think I've ever seen one.

I agree that the LTW tall is not for a daily driven street car. The LTW low works OK, but is bested by the OE high-arch coupe wing.
I got an ebay CF LTW rep w/ risers and its lighter than my old OE high-arch wing. The thing can't weigh more than 5-7 lbs, but does suffer with some slight sag. But at $265 for a flawless weave and finish, I'm not complaining.
ANY wing should be mounted w/ some foam gasket tape or lamin-X under it if the owner is at all concerned w/ the paint finish upon removal of the wing.

To the guy wondering what wheels are on that alpine m3, they are SSR Integrals. They are NLA.
Silly street cars
The sag is a result of whatever mold they use to make the wing. I noticed it as soon as I took it out of the box, but from an aerodynamic standpoint, the larger surface area as a result of the sag will actually create more downforce. The effect is probably minimal since the height of the wing isn't enough to catch the air stream coming over the roof, but that's my explanation to make myself feel better about the unsightly bulge
It looks good from any angle but behind
