This video proved that the Supra is the King, and that a c5 z06 with light bolt-ons can still beat a e46 m3 making 425whp(and a 15k turbo kit on top of the cost of the car). yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

E46 M3's are heavy.
Power to weight, gearing, aero drag, and who jumps first all matter.

Vettes are bad ass. No way to butter it up. They do well as fakk at the autocross events as well.

Best bang for buck sports car

The only problem with c5 is the interior is like an astro van, but I could learn to live it and the chance to make 4xxwhp all motor.

Not really. The races are all local to me... I know most of the people racing and some of them are making in the 800+ rwhp range and are much better setup for racing than nearly all of the HPF cars..

there is always someone faster

I couldnt agree more. Another thing to think about a Supra motor doesnt need to be built to handle 800whp.

Cool vid. That black Supra reminds me of my old one but I never quite got to making that much power. Nice car.

Lots of nice cars in fact. The GTO surprised me. I know that it should be easy to make good power with a turbo strapped to a V8 but my old tuner has a twin turboed one and it didn't kill it at the 8th or anything.

I liked seeing the Lexus. Those cars are so sleeper. However a nice 2jz-gte engine would have been better.

Not sure what happened in the last race but the pump fuel M3 race made sense and the 2nd race when he flipped on the meth was nice! Pretty darn good from a fatass e46 m3 with full interior and stock high compression high revving s54 motor. If you really break it down. I mean hell...how can you compare it to a car that comes at what ~3100lbs and a sick V8 from factory or another car that was overengineered from the factory with a turbo engine that can easily chill with 800whp just the way it came stock?

A Supra is a sick car but to each his own. I had a nice one but there is definitely something pretty darn cool about a turbo BMW. Again, to each his own.

Cool vid.

For some reason a lot of the HPF races seem weird....like one race it wins then the next race in the same vid it gets destroyed much like in that vid. I know it has some to do with the driver, but the races are so one way or the other with the same drivers.

I dunno what to think about them. I have been in an HPF car and it was super fast to me. Plus they are very well built kits that produce great dyno numbers.

Weird, maybe the driver of the M3 totally licks balls. OR the vette was sandbagging the second run as to not hurt Little DTM boys feelings.

This video makes me wanna buy a c5 zo6 vette, and they cost about the same as a e46 m3 now. Anyone wanna buy a e36 m3 making about 400whp that will spank a stage 1 HPF car on 6 psi?

A guy here in town has sc300 w/ 2jz swap w/ a gt35r. It made 468rwhp at like 16 or 17psi on pump gas. That car is definitely a sleeper. I can't believe the bolt-on c5 did that good. I have no problem beating stock c5 z06's.
