    M30 turbo HX40 *dyno*

Just came back from the dyno, pump gas with 14psi. My street tune wasn't that far off, leaned out the AFR's up top and gained 30whp and advanced the timing a bit. I'm happy

You sick pup! That motor looked like it came from Toothless Joe's Junk Yard and you slap a nice turbo system on it, throw it in the car, tune it a little and BLAM!

How the hell with SOHC is that power so useable? It looks like you have vanos and DOHC good God man!
Where have I been? Astral projecting.

Great work....and just imagine with the built motor...

    How has the handling changed?
Nelson Mandela borrowed this from Marianne Wilson in his 1994 inaugural speech - "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, "Who am i to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?" Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. You were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within you. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

I think you're reading the graph wrong, there's no 100hp falloff after 4500 rpm.

No I am pretty sure it loses 100 hp from 4500 to the dyno end.

Edit: oops, its the torque curve. Its losing 100 tq from 4500 til the end.

Can't even imagine what double power would feel like, the handling is not as bad as I thought, it feels 50/50.

I think the HG is at it's limit and don't want to end the fun to quick. Was thinking since I need to get headstuds for the new build, i could slap on an MLS and crank the bitch up :

    I would guess around 22psi.

I have video from the dyno at full throttle, should have them up soon.

Is it safe to run 22 psi ? or is it the max that the stock internals can handle ?

Fuck safe, push it till it does clankity clank then we will know

Chilton manual has it at 8.0.1, it's not detonating though, I check the plugs often and no pepper marks on the porcelian.
