    very nicely done. so you just used that piece to take the low frequency signal from the rear speakers to send a signal to the amp correct? i dont know what sound system your car came with stock, but i have the DSP with factory sub. from the pics it doesnt look like you do. either way, very clean job. i like it.

    I am not too sure about the name of that piece but I think it call's high- low converter. I am using rear speakers signal but by using this piece I am not sacrificing rear speakers sound. I cant even believe that E39 could ever sound this nice!!!

    nice job on the setup, I would have cut the hole different though. Using a holesaw in the corners would have left a nice radius, which would have also allowed you to make the rubber edging as one smooth piece instead of four little pieces.

    but overall big thumbs up for doing it yourself.
