I went two years ago and it was a good time. Pretty cold but a good showing of cars came. Not enough BMWs though

PDX/Salem/Albany/Astoria (Sean) Crew....I think we should show up and fix the BMW deficiency issue. This goes for anyone in the PNW.

Plus its for a good cause . Anybody In???

I know this is like two months away, but the earlier we start the more momentum we can build. Think of it as a "save the date".

Good point about the weather, I'd be in the same boat if it was snowing.

Ok so far this is the way I see it. I'm going to take the liberty of putting your names down on the list, knowing that its a weather permitting commitment as it is for me too.

Getting up to Seattle didn't happen for me last year. I did however do the Toy Drive with the Portland BMW ACA last year. We actually drove around giving the toys DIRECTLY to the needy folks. We hit up a couple homeless shelters, dropped a bunch off at Channel 8 News, and then went and gave toys to Dornbecker's Children's Hospital...

Before the event, we met at Kuni BMW and decorated our cars to get into the spirit of the event:

Our Group was led by an X3 Towing Santa in his Sleigh:

We had Mrs. Claus there too!

A room full of kids at a homeless shelter getting presents from Mr & Mrs Claus!

Please don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to take away from the Seattle Event AT ALL. Actually, I think that if you can, it'd be awesome to make both events. The PDX toy drive is December 6 - 7 (Friday night prep, with Saturday morning Toy Delivery).

So, If Seattle's too far for the PDX crowd, you have no excuse, because we have a toy drive right in our own backyard!

Nick, I went ahead and started another thread for the Portland Toy Drive. I don't want to step on toes by clogging up this thread too much...
